Bed & breakfast is a basic form of archipelago tourism. The standard various from very basic (without running water) to fully equipped, modern rooms and cottages. Expect a bed, roof over your head, a friendly greeting and breakfast - served or often self-served. The room descriptions show what standard to expect.
More than 90 landlords/ladies let rooms on islands like Landsort, Ornö, Runmarö, Svartsö, Möja and Blidö. For reservations and payment, talk to each landlord/lady. Collect the brochure at Visit Skärgården, at the tourist agency in Sverigehuset/Sweden-house at Kungsträdgården, at the Waxholmsbolaget terminal, or at Skärgårdsstiftelsen on Skeppsholmen.
