Visit Skärgården - Stockholm Archipelago's own tourist office

We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Öppen Skärgård, and a commercial organisation whose purpose is to encourage and inspire people to visit Stockholm's Archipelago all year round. Visit Skärgården markets its member's products both in Sweden and abroad. We also encourage common activities that can attract more visitors to Stockholm's Archipelago all year round.

Members of Öppen Skärgård include restaurants, hotel and conference facilities, hostels, shops, ferry companies, adventure and event companies, charter companies and tourist offices. But they also include archipelago companies that you wouldn't immediately connect with tourism like small boatyards and local orchestras.

Visit Skärgården will help you to book trips, accommodation and experiences in one of the world's most beautiful natural areas, stretching from Örskär in the north to Landsort in the south, across an area of 19320 square kilometres, through nine municipalities and consisting of about 30,000 islands, skerries and rocks.
